Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Nai Yang Beach, is delighted to announce the appointment of Sahapat Sakuntahan as its new Executive Chef.
Chef Sahapat first embarked on his culinary career in 1997 as a Commis Chef at Le Normandie, the famous riverside restaurant at Bangkok’s legendary Oriental Hotel (now called the Mandarin Oriental).
In the subsequent years, he gained extensive experience as a Sous Chef at several international hotels and resorts in Thailand before becoming Executive Sous Chef at Renaissance Resort & Spa Phuket in 2010. It was during this spell that he helped the resort win the ‘Best Breakfast and Food Quality’ award for Renaissance in Asia Pacific for two years running.
