Les Anges
A spectacular and luxurious setting with warm hospitality are just several factors that contribute to a memorable fine dining experience. A relaxing Sunday Brunch on the boardwalk with a view of luxury yachts and condominiums only steps away from your table or a magnificent meal or coffee break in an intricately-decorated area of air-conditioned comfort sets a perfect ambience. A varied fare of international dishes and sweet treats culminate the event.

Les Anges is a boutique bakery, patisserie and restaurant that is located on the boardwalk of the Royal Phuket Marina. This place to dine not only holds an eye-catching myriad of extravagant breads, pastries and deli items but also offers superb appetizers and entrées.

Wine is always an important accompaniment to a meal and the house wine, a Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, MontGras, proved to be a perfect complement to the dishes to follow.

An appetizer of a single prawn with a creamy horseradish sauce was an excellent suggestion from the chef. This was followed by two light and cold soups served in martini glasses: a creamy pumpkin soup with a Thai twist of lemongrass and, a house favourite, a thick gazpacho soup with fresh and crisp vegetables. A variety of homemade baked goods supplemented these starters.

Further suggestions included the entrées of a beef tenderloin and a salmon florentine. The meat was served with sautéed morels in a red wine sauce and sautéed potatoes and sliced vegetables. A thick bed of spinach cradled the filet of salmon and sliced fried potatoes with white mornel sauce accompanied the fish. An exquisite blend of sights and tastes cooked to perfection!

Adding further to the meal were the sweet treats – excellent reasons in themselves to frequent Les Anges – that added a final sparkle and refreshed the palate. The raspberry sorbet was a delight between courses and the duo of a macaroon with pistachio and strawberry mash and a truffle assortment were a superb finish.

For a taste of impeccable food, an inviting ambience and a unique marinaside setting, Les Anges offers an unrivalled dining opportunity. A place of heavenly delights!
