MICHELIN Guide launches in Phuket & Phang Nga

It was an exciting morning at The Memory at OnOn Hotel as Michelin Guide Thailand held a press conference to announce the inclusion of Phuket & Phang Nga to the 2019 Edition of the Michelin Guide Thailand.
Local media gathered to listen to the exciting announcement and enjoy delicious local delicacies such as Phuket Lobster and Dim Sum with stewed pork. The announcement of the Michelin Guide to the southern regions is sure to garner the attention of the local culinary scene as well as bring more tourists to the island.
As Phuket was named a “City of Gastronomy” by UNESCO in December 2015, it is welcome news that Michelin Guide Thailand is choosing to include the local cuisine and cultural influences into its prestigious guide.
